Alkali Metals posts quarterly profit turnaround, appoints new Executive Director
Hyderabad-based Alkali Metals Limited swung to a net profit of ₹57.57 lakh in the quarter ended September 30, 2026, reversing a loss of ₹91.34 lakh in the same quarter a year ago.
Revenue from operations rose sharply to ₹2,726.59 lakh for the quarter, up from ₹1,877.36 lakh in Q2 FY26, driven by growth in both domestic and export segments. Domestic revenue stood at ₹1,366.45 lakh while export revenue reached ₹1,360.14 lakh for the quarter.
However, on a half-year basis, the company remained in the red, reporting a net loss of ₹6.85 lakh for the six months ended September 30, 2026, compared to a loss of ₹206.65 lakh in the corresponding period last year — a significant improvement year-on-year.
Total income for the quarter came in at ₹2,773.38 lakh against total expenses of ₹2,715.81 lakh. Basic and diluted earnings per share for the quarter stood at ₹0.56.
In a separate board decision, the company approved the appointment of Mr. Y.V. Prashanth as Executive Director, effective October 12, 2026.

Adroit Industries posts Q1 FY27 standalone profit of ₹6.85 million after listing on the exhanges
Adroit Industries (India) Limited, a manufacturer of propeller shafts and forged driveshaft components, reported unaudited standalone net profit after tax of ₹6.85 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, up from ₹6.28 million in the same quarter last year.
Total standalone income for the quarter stood at ₹98.53 million, compared to ₹117.90 million in Q1 FY26, reflecting a year-on-year decline in revenue from operations from ₹112.01 million to ₹85.07 million. Total expenses came in at ₹88.65 million, down from ₹110.49 million a year ago.
On a consolidated basis, which includes subsidiaries Adroit Driveshafts Private Limited, Adroit Driveshafts Canada Limited, and Adroit Driveshafts USA LLC, the company posted net profit after tax of ₹74.89 million on total income of ₹354.07 million for the quarter.
These are the company’s first quarterly results following its listing on BSE and NSE on September 30, 2026, pursuant to an IPO of 1,12,47,000 equity shares priced at ₹134 each, aggregating to approximately ₹15,070.98 lakhs.
Basic and diluted earnings per share stood at ₹0.20 for the standalone quarter.
