One of the greatest Rock ‘N’ Roll stories you’ve never heard and next month you will have heard of it. After it’s world premiere at Raindance Film Festival, Don’t Forget Me, now watch official trailer.

Eddie Cochran helped shape pop and Rock ‘n’ Roll and the generation that came next wanted to be him. Kirsty Bell‘s Don’t Forget Me is that film that tries to make sure the story isn’t forgotten. Cochran was a pioneer who sadly died before his time in 1960 aged only 21, his legacy lives on today.

This film charts the story of the man who gave us such hits as Summertime Blues, C’mon Everybody and Somethin’ Else. Mixing up rare archival footage with Keith Richards, Sting, Rod Stewart, Roger Daltrey, Ronnie Wood, Billy Idol, Alice Cooper, Yungblud, John Waters and more come together with Cochran’s family to tell the story of the 21 year old whose brief life helped shape the future of rock ’n’ roll. He shaped generations, inspiring icons across all genres watch trailer below…

Synopsis | Created in partnership with the Cochran Family Estate and supported by both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Universal Music Enterprises, the documentary captures the enduring impact of Cochran’s music. Director Kirsty Bell said “It has been the deepest honour to be entrusted by Eddie Cochran’s family to tell his story. His life burned fast and bright, but the ripples of his sound reached across oceans and decades, shaping the very language of rock and roll. ‘Don’t Forget Me’ is not just the title of this film. It is Eddie’s own plea, echoed in autograph books and in the lives he touched. My hope is to bring him vividly back into the world’s consciousness, to remind us not only of what we lost, but of the brilliance he gave.

Don’t Forget Me will be in UK Cinemas from 11th September. This film won’t be shown at every cinema and you’ll need to search it out, try here to find local cinema.
