Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayThe Toronto Raptors held their media day Monday morning as they gear up for the 2026-27 season, including re-introducing Kawhi Leonard after the team reacquired their former star who led them to the only championship in franchise history in 2019. When asked by Toronto Star reporter Doug Smith — who originally asked Leonard in 2019 a question that led to his viral laugh video — if he was still a fun guy, Leonard replied "For sure" with a grin. Asked what he thought about the viral clip so many years later Leonard replied, "If I can make people laugh... I'm not embarrassed by it." Leonard was also asked about the KaWineAndDine campaign, which has now returned to Toronto. The viral movement encouraged Toronto restaurants to place window badges pledging free food for life if Kawhi re-signed with the team in 2019. "I want to know who told them I like to eat," Leonard said laughing, adding; "I'm older now so I can't eat as much." Also speaking on Monday, were Head Coach Darko Rajakovic as well as team stars Scottie Barnes and RJ Barrett. Toronto acquired Kawhi Leonard from the Los Angeles Clippers in June. But the deal wasn’t finalized until earlier this month after the NBA investigated Leonard and the Clippers for salary-cap circumvention.
