Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayDENVER (KDVR) -- The Regional Transportation District is adding train cars to the D, E, H, W and L light rail lines from Friday through Sunday, in order to support 4th of July events in downtown Denver.
The RTD said its bus and rail services will also operate on a Sunday/holiday schedule on the 4th of July holiday.
Final light rail train times from Denver Union Station and the Downtown Loop stations are:
- Wednesday, July 2, and Thursday, July 3
- D Line – 11:33 p.m.
- E Line – 11:55 p.m.
- H Line – 11:30 p.m.
- W Line – 11:52 p.m.
- L Line – 10:02 p.m.
- Friday, July 4 (Holiday Schedule)
- D Line – 11:33 p.m.
- E Line – 11:26 p.m.
- H Line – 11:30 p.m.
- W Line – 11:38 p.m.
- L Line – 10:03 p.m.

Notable Independence Day events
Notable events going on in downtown Denver for Independence Day include:
- Indy Eve drone show at Civic Center on Thursday at 9:15 p.m. (gates open at 5 p.m.)
- Deadbeats Backyard Jamboree at Civic Center Park on Friday
- Fireworks shows at Coors Field after the Rockies baseball games on Friday and Saturday (games start at 6:10 p.m. on Friday and 7:10 p.m. on Saturday)
- Saturday fireworks at Elitch Gardens
- FAN EXPO Denver at the Colorado Convention Center on Thursday through Sunday
