Rescue operations are currently underway following the collapse of a building in New Delhi, India’s capital on Sunday. At least three people are confirmed to have died in the incident, with many still trapped under the rubble. The five-story building that housed a boy’s hostel, was in a densely populated neighborhood near a university campus. Delhi’s Chief Minister says, “the most important thing for us, is to save the lives of these students… We would leave no stone unturned. I assure you that we won't spare the guilt." Building collapses are a recurring hazard in parts of India, during the June-to-September monsoon, when heavy or prolonged rain can weaken ageing structures. Stephanie Hallihan has more.
