DENVER (KDVR) — Aurora will soon host an event that will be truly divisive to the public — with some people who are fascinated by the creepy crawlies of the world ecstatic to attend and learn more, while others who wouldn't touch a snake with a 10-foot pole will gladly steer clear of the event.

It's 2025's edition of Repticon Denver: A Walk Among the Wild Things.

Repticon is one of the leading expos that bring reptiles and exotic animals to communities around the United States.

The family-fun event brings a variety of rare animals and allows attendees to speak with experts about the lifestyle and behavior of the hard-to-find animals.

Those who become enamored with the animals will have the opportunity to bring one home with them, as the expo will have hundreds of reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, arachnids and small exotic animals to choose from.

The creature's home within a home can also be acquired at the expo, which will feature merchandise, cages, supplies and live or frozen feeders.

People who choose to bring a new pet home can also consult the experts at the event on the best ways to take care of their adopted animal.

The event will be held at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds on July 5 and 6.
