Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayDENVER (KDVR) -- Repairs are set to begin next week on the Buckley Road Bridge over Interstate 76 in Adams County.
The Colorado Department of Transportation said Thursday that the repairs will involve replacing the bridge's expansion devices and repairing the joints, deck and drainage.
Crews will begin repairs on the east half of the Buckley Road Bridge starting the week of July 7, with drainage and stabilization work also being done along the westbound I-76 shoulder, under the bridge.

CDOT said the construction will cause several travel impacts, including:
- Slight traffic delays
- Narrowed lanes while crews with heavy equipment work in the area
- Westbound I-76 shoulder closures under the bridge are expected from July 7 through mid-August for drainage work
- Traffic shifted to one lane in each direction on the Buckley Road Bridge over I-70 from July 7 through late September.
- Traffic will first be shifted to the east side of the bridge and, once that work is completed, traffic will shift to the west side.
CDOT said the construction schedule could change depending on the weather and other factors. More information about the bridge construction and other repairs scheduled as part of the same project can be found online.
