The burning vehicle was located near 88th Avenue and Interstate 76, with the fire department's Tower 24 and Engine 22 responding to the blaze at approximately 5:24 a.m., the agency said in a post on X.
South Adams Fire said the fire was limited to one vehicle with "heavy" fire in its engine, and that nearby trees were not affected.
The vehicle did not have any occupants, according to the fire department, which said the cause of the fire is undetermined.
