DENVER (KDVR) — Crews responded to a call for a water rescue on Friday in Adams County, according to a post on X from Adams County Fire.

The incident occurred in a creek off the Tennyson bridge, according to Adam County Fire.

Possible measles exposure locations in Denver, Boulder after new confirmed case

The Westminster Fire Department was the first to arrive on the scene. Crews threw the person two rope bags before an Adams County Fire swiftwater tech jumped in to assist the person to shore.

After being taken back on land, the person was transported "emergent" to a local hospital.

No information was provided on the extent of injuries.
