DENVER (KDVR) — Police are investigating a crash that involved a wheelchair on Friday evening, according to a post on X from the Denver Police Department.

Police said that the crash involved a person in a wheelchair and a motorist.

The incident occurred in the area near West 50th Avenue and North Federal Boulevard.

The person in the wheelchair was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Southbound Federal Boulevard was reopened at West 50th Avenue after a brief closure.
