After a 2-1 victory over England on matchday one, France is flying high, and a win over Wales would punch their ticket to the knockout rounds for a fifth consecutive Euro.

In that opening win, France showed serious intent. Marie-Antoinette Katoto struck first in the 36th minute, followed by Chelsea winger Sandy Baltimore, who made it two just three minutes later. England clawed one back through Keira Walsh in the 87th, but France held on, outplaying the reigning champs and grabbing all three points.

Now, with nine straight wins since their last loss to Spain back in December, Les Bleues are riding serious momentum.

Meanwhile, Wales is scrambling after falling 3-0 to the Netherlands in their opener; they now face an uphill battle to stay in the tournament.

With two group games remaining, Wales still has a chance to advance, but they need points, and they need them fast. A draw could keep the door cracked open, but a loss would all but seal their fate. Expect them to play with urgency, physicality, and a nothing-to-lose attitude as they look to get back on track.
