The Tigers, the No. 6 national seed, improved to 2-0 in Omaha with a victory on Tuesday afternoon against UCLA. Arkansas, the highest seed to get to the CWS at No. 3, stayed alive with a win on Tuesday night against UCLA.

Arkansas led 7-0 before the Bruins plated three runs in the top of the ninth inning. Logan Maxwell drove in two runs, and Zach Root worked five scoreless innings. Wehiwa Aloy leads the team with 21 home runs, while younger brother Kuhio Aloy has 70 RBIs.

The Tigers beat Arkansas 4-1 in the teams' first game in Omaha on Saturday, thanks to seven strong innings from Kade Anderson. He allowed a run on three hits.
