Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayDENVER (KDVR) — In June, the Regional Transportation District released its 2025 Denver metropolitan area report, stating that the No. 1 reason individuals use RTD's bus and rail services is to get to work, a 7% increase from 2024.
RTD had collected responses to a few surveys in April, the Customer Excellence Survey and Community Value Survey, for customers and communities in the Denver area to provide feedback on their public transit services.
“Over the last year, the agency has implemented several consequential tactics related to creating a Welcoming Transit Environment and enhancing the customer experience. The results of RTD’s strategic and multi-faceted efforts are evident. And, while I am encouraged to see that RTD is nationally leading the way across several categories, the agency remains focused on the future and continuous improvement," General Manager and CEO Debra A. Johnson said in a press release.
RTD used ETC Institute, a national, third-party research firm, to conduct its 2025 surveys, stating that it "specializes in community, transportation, public safety, and other types of external surveys for government agencies, non‑profits, and public-service organizations."
A few other survey numbers that were reported by RTD included:
- 85% of paratransit customers reported that they are "satisfied or very satisfied" with RTD's services
- 86% of the community believes RTD provides "value" to the Denver metropolitan area
- 65% of rail customers are "reliant" on RTD's services
- 83% of the community believes RTD is "valuable or extremely valuable" at reducing pollution and achieving sustainable practices
