Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayGavi has stuck to his pre-World Cup promise and dyed his hair a shocking pink following Spain’s victory.
The Barcelona midfielder said prior to the tournament he would ditch his trademark colour for a radical new look if Luis de la Fuente’s men returned with the trophy.
And he proved to be a man of his word, unveiling his new hairstyle on Instagram.
Gavi’s team-mate Yamal gives new look the laughing treatment
His new trim has gone down well with Barca team-mate Lamine Yamal, who responded with a series of laughing emojis.
Gavi is not the first Spain player to have changed his appearance due to the triumph in the United States, Canada and Mexico with left-back Marc Cucurella fulfilling his pledge to get a tattoo of De la Fuente’s face.
Gavi made two appearances at the World Cup. He started the opening game against Cape Verde, a disappointing goalless draw, but then lost his place in the side with his only other contribution coming as a late substitute in the round of 32 win over Austria.
Gavi to return to Barcelona with interesting new look
He is a more central figure for Barca and will return to the club next week after an extended summer break.
Gavi’s hairstylist filmed the whole transformation and put it on X.
