DENVER (KDVR) — Friday is the annual day of volunteering for members of the FOX31 and Colorado's CW2 team. Employees from the stations are in the community, working with five organizations.

It’s part of "Founder’s Day of Caring" at KDVR and KWGN’s parent company, Nexstar Media Group.

This year, FOX31 and CW2 volunteers are at:

• Grow Local Colorado
• Backpack Society
• Haven of Hope
• Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver
• Project Angel Heart

Nexstar gives employees across the country paid time off to volunteer on Founder’s Day of Caring. In 2024, more than 5,000 people volunteered at more than 240 organizations.
