Ontario Premier Doug Ford and Alberta Premier Danielle Smith stress the importance of provinces working together to create an energy policy that works for Canada as the country remains embroiled in a trade war with the United States. The premiers touted projects like the planned Northern Shield energy corridor between Alberta and Ontario, and an agreement signed between Alberta and Saskatchewan to cooperate on nuclear energy development and transmission.
