DENVER (KDVR) — A former Commerce City teacher, Michelle McMillan, 44, has been charged with felony sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust, following a police investigation of an incident in 2016.

Commerce City Police Department said in a press release that the victim came forward to a parent in December 2024, alleging that back in 2016, when the victim had been attending Landmark Academy, was when the alleged sexual assault was committed by McMillan.
