Earlier this week, the Wheat Ridge Police Department said its crash and traffic team pulled over a driver who was going over 100 mph down I-70, weaving through cars. In a picture posted on the department's X account, it showed a speed radar clocked 105 mph.
"There is no need to go this fast on I-70," the department said in a post on X.

The department said the driver's license was already suspended after excessive points.
I-70 is a heavily traveled road that goes through Colorado. While many take the roadway to get to and from the mountains, the interstate also crosses through the metro. The department said the driver was pulled over in its jurisdiction, part of which is only a few miles from downtown Denver.
