Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayDENVER (KDVR) — The Denver Zoo is extending its hours on Friday and Saturday, on account of the heat. The Pinpoint Weather team has issued heat advisories for both days, amid a forecast of a week of high temperatures.
The Denver Zoo said in a post on X that it is extending its hours so guests can visit outside of the hottest times of the day.
On Friday and Saturday the Denver Zoo will open at 7:30 a.m. rather than the 10 a.m. start for general admission or the 9 a.m. start for Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance members.
On June 20 the Denver Zoo's Summer Extended Hours also kick in until August.
The zoo usually closes at 5 p.m. but the extended hours prolongue closing until 8 p.m., with last call for tickets ending at 7 p.m.
Any tickets purchased between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. will be discounted by 50%.
During the zoo's extended hours program the zoo will host musical acts and showcase animal demonstrations.
For more information about tickets and the extended hours, visit the Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance website.
