Showers and a few thunderstorms will linger this evening, especially in the mountains.
As rain wraps up, clouds will linger Thursday night as low temperatures fall to the 60s.

Weather tomorrow: Rain and thunderstorm chances
July 4 will start off with increasing clouds ahead of a few showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. It will be far from a washout, but make sure to keep an eye to the sky if you have outdoor plans.

Temperatures will stay warm, but seasonal, climbing to the upper 80s in the metro, and the 70s and 80s in the mountains.

Looking ahead: More storm chances, staying warm
The weekend will continue the trend of seasonally warm temperatures around 90 degrees with a few afternoon showers and thunderstorms.

Monday will be similar with morning sunshine and a high near 90 degrees ahead of a few showers and thunderstorms. Then, sunshine and warmer weather moves in for Tuesday and Wednesday.
