Some of the storms will bring strong winds, heavy downpours and even hail. If you have a garage, make sure to bring your cars inside this afternoon!
The majority of the storms should be done after 7 p.m.

Weather today: Sunny start, afternoon storms
We have plenty of sun in the morning, but in the afternoon, clouds increase ahead of showers and storms. High temperatures max out in the upper 80s with winds out of the east Sunday afternoon anywhere from 5-15 mph.

Weather tonight: Storms taper off, partly cloudy skies
Showers and storms taper off before heading to bed Sunday night. Overnight lows drop down into the upper 50s nearing 60 degrees. Winds will be out of the east southeast anywhere from 10-20 mph.

Looking ahead: Rain chances continue
We have another chance of showers and storms on Monday, but highs will be cooler so the threat for severe weather is much lower. Highs tomorrow will be in the upper 70s and lower 80s. More sunshine returns on Tuesday with highs back in the upper 80s nearing 90 degrees.

Denver dries out on Wednesday as highs return into the lower 90s under mostly sunny skies. We have a chance of showers and storms on both Thursday and on Friday for the 4th of July, with that being said models are a touch inconsistent so there's still a lot to be ironed out for the end of the week.
