Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayDENVER (KDVR) — A Pinpoint Weather Alert Day has been issued for Wednesday as near-record heat moves into Denver's weather forecast.

A heat advisory will also be in effect for areas like the Denver metro from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. as afternoon high temperatures climb toward 100 degrees. Remember that the hottest part of the day will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. During this time, it will be extra important to avoid being outside or take breaks and stay hydrated.

Weather tonight: Mainly clear
Tuesday night will stay clear and warm. Low temperatures will fall toward 60 degrees, which is right in line with normal for this time of year.

Weather tomorrow: Near record heat
Sunshine and southwesterly breeze on Wednesday will help temperatures to quickly climb toward triple digits. High temperatures in Denver are forecast to fall just shy of the daily record of 100 degrees set in 2022.

With temperatures this hot, it will be extra important to drink plenty of water, dress in light colored, light and loose-fitting clothing and take breaks in the shade or in the air conditioning during the heat of the day.

Looking ahead: Next chance for showers
Thursday will start off with sunshine. Then, as high temperatures climb to the 90s, winds will start to gust up to 20-30 mph ahead of afternoon and evening thunderstorms. A more widespread chance for afternoon thunderstorms will move in on Friday, and help limit high temperatures to the 80s.

Warmer and drier conditions move in for the weekend. On Saturday, high temperatures will climb to the mid-80s ahead of a few afternoon thunderstorms. Sunshine will be in full force Sunday, and help temperatures to warm to the lower 90s.
