Weather tonight: Storms ending
Thunderstorms will move from the metro into the Eastern Plains Monday night.
As storms move into southeastern Colorado, they could be strong to severe, producing damaging wind gusts and large hail.

As storms clear tonight, low temperatures will fall to the mid-50s, which is seasonal for this time of year.
Weather tomorrow: Afternoon storms, some severe
Tuesday will start off partly sunny, ahead of afternoon thunderstorms as high temperatures climb to the lower 80s.

Some thunderstorms will be strong to severe, producing large hail, damaging wind gusts and rotation that could lead to a tornado.
Looking ahead: More storm chances, hot end to the week
Afternoon thunderstorms are forecast again on Wednesday. Storm chances will increase through the afternoon and evening.

Northeastern Colorado is under a marginal, level one on a scale of one to five, for storms becoming severe and producing damaging wind gusts and large hail.

Sunshine and warmer weather return Thursday and into the start of the weekend. Thursday will be seasonal, with a high in the upper 80s, followed by lower 90s, and plenty of sunshine on Friday and Saturday. Then, afternoon showers return Sunday and Monday, which will aid in knocking temperatures back down to the mid-80s.
