Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayDENVER (KDVR) — A Pinpoint Weather Alert Day continues Tuesday evening for strong to severe thunderstorms in Denver's weather, and moving east through the evening.

A severe thunderstorm watch has also been issued until 5 p.m. for the risk of strong to severe storms that could produce large hail, damaging wind gusts and isolated tornadoes.

Weather tonight: Clearing, mild
Tuesday evening, strong to severe storms will move east. This will be followed by clearing clouds. Low temperatures will fall toward 50 degrees, which is just a few degrees below normal for this time of year.

Weather tomorrow: Sunny, seasonal
Sunshine and dry conditions return on Wednesday. This will help high temperatures climb back up toward seasonal levels in the 80s.

Looking ahead: Record heat, dry stretch
A stretch of dry and hot weather moves in Thursday through the weekend. High temperatures on Thursday will climb to the mid-90s, which is 10 degrees above normal for this time of year, but still shy of the daily record of 100 degrees set in 2012.

Friday is on track to be the first triple-digit day of the year. A high of 99 degrees would also beat the previous record high, which currently sits at 99 degrees set in 2017.
Saturday is on track to be hot and dry as well, with a record-tying 99 degrees for a high temperature.

Temperatures come down slightly on Sunday, but will still reach the lower 90s alongside a stray chance for thunderstorms. A more widely scattered chance for showers and thunderstorms moves in Monday and Tuesday and will aid in keeping temperatures slightly below seasonal, in the lower 80s.
