Temperatures will then briefly warm before more rain chances toward the end of the forecast period.
Weather tonight: Drier weather

The weather patterns overnight Tuesday will be quieter across the metro area, although there may be some lingering showers or storms in the early part of the night.
Temperatures will also be slightly above normal with lows generally in the upper 50s around Denver, but as warm as the middle 60s in the eastern plains.
Weather tomorrow: More afternoon storms

Afternoon highs on Wednesday will again be unseasonably mild. Highs will top out only in the upper 70s to low 80s in northeast Colorado. Southeast Colorado will be much warmer with highs near the 90s. More thunderstorms will be possible in the mid and late afternoon, but severe weather is not expected.
Looking ahead: Up and down temperatures
Drier weather moves in on Thursday with sunnier skies. Temperatures jump into the mid-80s, which is seasonal. There will be 90-degree temperatures back for Friday and Saturday with dry weather and continued sunshine.

Temperatures dip back to the middle 80s Sunday, which is also when rain chances return. Rain chances will continue through the first couple of days next week, with below normal highs in the lower 80s coming back to end the month of June.
