Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayDENVER (KDVR) — Denver's weather forecast features lots of hot and mostly dry air as we head into this weekend. Possible isolated shower or storm this afternoon after 2 PM, but most will be dry. Don't change any outdoor plans if you have them!

Temperatures won’t be in record-breaking territory, but it certainly will still be very hot. Be sure to wear sunscreen if you’re spending any extended time outside, and stay cool.
Weather today: Hot with some passing clouds
Today starts out with temperatures in the upper 50s before we skyrocket into the lower 90s across the Front Range. There will be some passing clouds by this afternoon with winds out of the south and west anywhere from 5-15 mph.

Weather tonight: Mostly clear
Mostly clear skies dominate the area overnight as lows drop back down into the upper 50s nearing 60 degrees. Winds will shift out of the southeast anywhere from 5-15 mph.

Looking ahead: Long-term high heat
Temperatures climb into the mid-90s Sunday and Monday. Records for both days are in the 100s, and those should remain safe. Seeing fewer moths? The rainy weather has something to do with it.
There will be plenty of sunshine and breezy winds. Temperatures dip slightly Tuesday and Wednesday into the middle 80s, with a slight chance for a few storms Tuesday.

Temperatures will return to the 90s starting next Thursday and look to stay in the 90s through the following weekend. There are some signs temperatures may approach 100 degrees next weekend, but the forecast may evolve. Either way, extended dry weather is forecast.
