Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayDENVER (KDVR) — A stretch of hot and dry weather is about to move into Denver weather through the rest of the week and into the weekend. High temperatures could even reach record levels Friday and Saturday.
Weather tonight: Mainly clear
Wednesday night will stay mainly clear. Low temperatures will fall to the upper 50s, which is just a few degrees above normal for this time of year.

Weather tomorrow: Sunny, hot
Thursday will be sunny and hot. High temperatures will climb to the mid-90s, which is 10 degrees above normal for this time of year, and just 3 degrees shy of the daily record, which is 98 degrees set in 1989.

Looking ahead: Record heat
A heat advisory is set to go into place Friday and Saturday as high temperatures climb to record levels around 100 degrees.

The hottest part of the day will be in the afternoon and early evening.
During that time, it will be extra important to make sure you are taking precautions like drinking plenty of water, wearing light-colored, loose-fitting clothing, taking breaks in the shade or air conditioning, and remembering that the heat can be harsh on your pets, too.
Temperatures will stay warm on Sunday, climbing to the 90s.

Then, a more active pattern will move in for the start of the workweek, bringing a daily chance for afternoon showers and high temperatures only reaching around 80 degrees.
