Weather tonight: Clear skies

Skies will stay clear Tuesday night with a light wind. Overnight low temperatures are close to seasonal averages in the upper 50s and lower 60s.

Looking ahead: Rain brings relief

Wednesday is a hot afternoon with temperatures near triple digits along the urban corridor. The area will have mainly sunny skies with a Heat Advisory in effect from 10 a.m. through 9 p.m.

Thursday is still hot with highs in the middle 90s, but a cold front later in the day will bring in storm chances and cooler temperatures. Relief from the heat is here Friday with highs in the middle 80s, but Denver also has chances for some afternoon and evening storms.

Saturday kicks off the weekend with small chances for afternoon storms, mild highs in the upper 80s and partly cloudy skies. Sunday has a mix of sun and clouds with warm highs in the lower 90s. The lower 90s are still here to start the next week with mainly sunny skies.
