Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayDENVER (KDVR) — The scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms will be taking a break for a few days in Denver weather.
That will allow for the hot 90s to return to start the weekend. However, according to Pinpoint Weather, Colorado’s Most Accurate Forecast, the heat won't last long as those daily thunderstorm chances return beginning on Sunday.

Weather tonight: Clear and cool
There will be a few widely scattered showers and thunderstorms early in the evening, mainly across the eastern plains of Colorado. Otherwise, skies will turn clear and will have a light southerly wind.
Temperatures will be in the refreshing 40s in the mountains with comfortable 50s and 60s across lower elevations, including metro Denver.

Weather tomorrow: Sunny and hot
The forecast looks dry and hotter for the next few days, with the hot 90s returning to many spots out west and across the eastern plains and Front Range. The average high in Denver is 87 degrees at this time of year.
The area will be running about 5 degrees above normal with readings in the low 90s. The records for the next few days are in the low to middle triple digits.

Looking ahead: Thunderstorm chances return
The region will stay in the hot 90s for one more day on Saturday. We are tracking a cold front from a passing northerly storm. It will arrive on Sunday and cool temperatures will return to seasonal levels in the upper 80s for Denver. It will also bring a chance for late-day showers and thunderstorms.

The rain chances will continue each afternoon through next week, meaning residents do not have a dry day ahead. The storms will be scattered each day, which also means residents may not see rain every day. Additionally, temperatures will remain in the seasonal 80s through the end of the week.
