Weather tonight: Partly cloudy, mild
Monday night, a few clouds will linger. Low temperatures will fall to the upper 50s, which is about 5 degrees above normal for this time of year.

Weather tomorrow: Afternoon thunderstorms, cooler
Tuesday will start off with increasing clouds. This will cap high temperatures in the upper 70s, which is a little more than 5 degrees below normal for this time of year.

The morning will start off dry, then by the afternoon, thunderstorms will move toward the Interstate 25 corridor and push east through the evening.
The Denver metro is under a marginal, level one on a scale of 1-5, risk for storms becoming strong to severe, producing damaging wind gusts and hail. The higher risk for storms becoming severe, producing large hail, damaging wind gusts over 60 mph and rotation that could lead to a tornado will be in eastern Colorado through the late afternoon and early evening.
Looking ahead: Possible record heat
Wednesday, sunshine returns the the forecast and will aid in a warming trend. High temperatures and will help boost high temperatures back to seasonal levels in the mid-80s.
Mid-90s return on Juneteenth, followed by high temperatures near 100 degrees on Friday and Saturday.

Both Friday and Saturday have a 99-degree record high to beat, and that is exactly where Denver is forecasted to reach for an afternoon high.

Temperatures will stay warmer than normal, reaching a high in the 90s on Sunday, ahead of 80s to start the next workweek.
