Weather tonight: Clearing, warm
Showers and thunderstorms will wrap up Wednesday evening, followed by clearing overnight. Low temperatures will fall to the upper 50s, which is about 5 degrees warmer than normal for this time of year.

Weather tomorrow: Warm, afternoon thunderstorms
Thursday will start off with sunshine and warm temperatures.

Then, as highs climb into the upper 80s, clouds will build in by the afternoon ahead of a few showers and thunderstorms.
Some storms could become strong to severe in the eastern plains, producing large hail and damaging wind gusts.
Looking ahead: More storm chances, hot weekend
Friday will follow the familiar trend of morning sunshine, followed by high temperatures getting capped in the upper 80s as clouds roll in ahead of afternoon and evening thunderstorms.

The Denver area could see a few thunderstorms on Friday that produce strong wind gusts and hail, but the larger risk for storms becoming strong to severe is in the eastern plains and in northeast Colorado.

Sunshine and hot temperatures dominate the forecast for Father's Day weekend. Saturday is on track to be Denver's first day of the season in the 90s, ahead of an isolated chance for afternoon thunderstorms.
Sunday will be the hottest day of the week with high temperatures climbing to the low to mid-90s alongside plenty of sunshine. Temperatures will stay above normal for the start of the workweek, topping off in the upper 80s on Monday, before falling to more seasonal levels in the mid-80s on Tuesday and Wednesday.
