Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayDENVER (KDVR) — There will be temporary detours and boarding location changes on several bus routes during the 2025 Denver Pride 5K and Denver Vizzy Pride Parade on Saturday and Sunday, the Regional Transportation District announced Thursday.
The Denver Pride 5K is scheduled to take place from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. The 5K will go through areas like Cheesman Park, which will be temporarily closed to vehicles. RTD said that customers can get on Routes 10 and 12, located west of Corona Street or east of York Street.
On Sunday, the Pride Parade will begin at 9:30 a.m. The parade route will be in the downtown and Capitol Hill areas, causing a number of temporary road closures from 7 a.m. to noon.
RTD said that customers should expect delays, detours and temporary stop closures. More information on the impacted bus routes is on RTD's website.
RTD also said it proudly celebrates and supports Denver’s LGBTQIA community and Pride celebrations, as the agency will even be in the parade showcasing its Pride Bus, inviting parade-goers to “Ride with Pride."
