DENVER (KDVR) — Police were on the scene of a crash in Capitol Hill, according to a post on X from the Denver Police Department on Thursday afternoon.

The crash involved a bicyclist and a motorist. One person was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Emerson Street and 7th Avenue.

The involved motorist remained at the scene.

The intersection was closed while investigators were in the area.
