Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayDENVER (KDVR) -- Taco lovers, rejoice: Del Taco is reopening several locations across Colorado after several months of being closed.
In February, Del Taco restaurants across the state suddenly closed their doors. Signs were posted saying that "all Colorado Del Taco locations are closed until further notice." The closure impacted every location in Colorado except for one in Grand Junction, which is owned and operated by a different franchisee.
A spokesperson for Del Taco told FOX31 at the time that it planned to re-open Denver and Colorado Springs franchise locations "as soon as possible."
That day has finally come. On Wednesday, a spokesperson confirmed that Del Taco is beginning to reopen 17 locations and provided the following statement:
Del Taco is excited to begin the phased reopening of 17 locations across Denver and Colorado Springs. The stores will be owned and operated by Del Taco Corporate. We’re grateful for the patience and loyalty of our guests and are thrilled to once again serve the communities that have supported us since 2003. Updates on specific reopening dates and locations will be shared as they become available.
