DENVER (KDVR) — Two people were transported to the hospital after a crash on Interstate 25 on Thursday evening, leading to the closure of the southbound lanes.

Those lanes reopened at about 11 p.m. on Thursday.

The Denver Police Department said that as of about 9:10 p.m., all southbound lanes of I-25 from Interstate 70 to 20th Street were closed.

The agency said the crash involved a motorist and a motorcyclist in the area of southbound I-25 and Park Avenue West. The crash was reported to police at about 8:07 p.m.

The agency said there was "serious injury" from the crash on X, and told FOX31 there were two adults, a man and a woman, on the motorcycle who were both transported to a hospital.
