DENVER (KDVR) -- Coloradans are filling up more than just their fuel tanks when stopping at the gas station.

According to research published in late May by CanadaSportsBetting, Colorado is the most gas station snack-obsessed state in the country.

The research analyzed Google search trends for more than 50 of the most popular snacks in the United States over a 12-month period and found that more than 4,300 searches for gas station snacks were made per-100,000 Colorado residents.

The data also revealed the top searched snacks in Colorado, including:

• Doritos - 22,000 searches per month on average
• Oreos - 22,000 searches per month on average
• Milky Way - 18,100 searches per month on average
• Skittles - 18,100 searches per month on average
• Sour Patch Kids - 14,800 searches per month on average

Colorado was joined in the top 5 states ranking by Delaware, Georgia, Connecticut and Idaho, in that order.
