It is officially summer when lords, ladies, pirates, and fairies descend on Larkspur for the Colorado Renaissance Festival.
The festival opens on Saturday, June 14, with plenty of entertainment, food, refreshments, and vendors to satisfy even the king of the realm.
Visitors to the Renaissance Festival can look forward to jousting shows, fire eaters, magicians, parades, and more. The family-friendly festival also offers plenty of exciting interactive activities for kids, so the weekend is sure to thrill revelers of any age.
The Renaissance Festival is open on Saturdays and Sundays for eight weekends over the summer, and opening day is June 14. Each weekend will feature a fun theme, and guests are encouraged to dress to impress:
June 14 & 15 | Magical Fantasy Weekend | First responder appreciation weekend: Buy one get one free for adult tickets for all first responders. Children of first responders under the age of 12 are free! |
June 21 & 22 | Ale and Art Festival | Military Appreciation Weekend: All prior and active duty military can purchase BOGO adult tickets at the Festival box office and their children under 12 are free with a Military ID. |
June 28 & 29 | Celtic Weekend | |
July 5 & 6 | Children’s Weekend | Children ages 12 and under get in free with a paying adult admission ticket purchased at the Festival box office. |
July 12 & 13 | Pirate Invasion Weekend | |
July 19 & 20 | Wine and Revelry Weekend | Free Sampling of some of the finest vintages from area wineries at the dancing bear pub, 11:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. |
July 26 & 27 | Renaissance Romance and Masquerade Weekend | Renew your vows and faith and commitment at our “Renewal of Vows”, both Saturday and Sunday on the Rose Stage at noon. |
Aug. 2 & 3 | Time Travelers Weekend and Final Huzzah |
Tickets at the festival box office are $32 for an adult or $15 for kids ages 5-12, kids under 5 get in free. You can also purchase tickets online ahead of time by clicking here. E-tickets are $30.50 for adults and $14 for kids.
Discounted single-day tickets can be purchased at any King Soopers customer service desk for $29 for adults, or $14 for kids ages 5-12. (Free entry for children 12 and under on Children's Weekend are only applicable when purchased at the festival box office).
