Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayDENVER (KDVR) — A bull is still at large after it escaped while being unloaded onto rodeo grounds in Snowmass Village on Wednesday.
A PitkinAlert went out to Snowmass Village residents on Wednesday evening about a bull that had "gotten loose" from the rodeo grounds of Snowmass Rodeo, which sit on the edge of Snowmass Village and near mountains, forests and trailheads.
At the time of the alert, the bull was believed to be in the Horse Ranch subdivision, but as of Thursday morning, the bull is still on the loose.
Brian Olson, chief of police for the town of Snowmass Village Police Department, said the bull escaped while being unloaded, and after searching for it on Wednesday night, they've stopped looking for it.

Olson said the bull and the public aren't in danger, so there's no urgency to allocate staff. If there is a verifiable lead on where the bull is, Olson said they will notify the owner.
While the bull isn't considered a danger to the public, the alert warned residents to use caution if they see the bull and not to approach it. If you see the bull, the alert asks people to notify dispatch at 970-920-5310.
