Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayDENVER (KDVR) — Police are looking for a man who is accused of shooting his wife, according to a social media post from the Aurora Police Department.
APD said that since early Monday morning, the Fugitive Team has been working to locate Juan Carlos Rivera-Garcia, 42, who allegedly shot his wife multiple times before fleeing.
The incident occurred in the 11500 block of East Virginia Place.
Police said that Rivera-Garcia fled the incident in a black, white and gray 2000 flatbed tow truck that had temporary Colorado plate 7353534 in the back window.
The wife was taken to a local hospital with multiple gunshot wounds, but is expected to survive the injuries.
Rivera-Garcia has warrants issued for charges, including:
- Attempted first-degree murder
- First-degree assault
- Child abuse
- Domestic violence-related offenses
APD said he is still on the run, and the tow truck has not been found either.
