The All India Rubber Industries Association (AIRIA) has unanimously re-elected Anay Gupta as President for the 2026–27 term, marking his second consecutive term in the role.
Gupta has been associated with the rubber industry for over three decades and has played an active role in AIRIA’s initiatives focused on industry development, policy advocacy, and stakeholder engagement. He has been a member of AIRIA’s Managing Committee since 2017 and has previously served as Chairman of AIRIA (Natural Rubber).
Gupta will continue to work with industry stakeholders on key issues affecting the Indian rubber sector, including raw material availability, industry competitiveness, evolving trade dynamics, and the growth of the MSME segment, said a press release.
According to Gupta, the Indian rubber industry is navigating a dynamic phase marked by evolving market conditions, global trade shifts, and opportunities for growth.
AIRIA will continue to work closely with all stakeholders to strengthen the competitiveness of the industry, support innovation, encourage sustainable growth, and address the concerns of both tyre and non-tyre sectors.
Along with Gupta, K. Ganesh has been elected as Senior Vice President, while Vinod Bansal will continue to serve as Vice President.
