DENVER (KDVR) — A head-on collision on Colorado 93 sent six people to the hospital early Friday morning.

The road that connects Golden to Boulder was closed around 6 a.m. on Friday due to a crash. Colorado State Patrol told FOX31 that two vehicles crashed in a head-on collision, with six people involved. All six people were sent to the hospital with unknown conditions.

CO 93 in Jefferson County, just north of Golden, was temporarily closed, but has since reopened.

At this time, the extent of injuries and the cause of the crash are unknown.
