Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayDENVER (KDVR) -- South Metro Fire Rescue said it responded to an accident involving a group of bicyclists on Waterton Road near Moore Road in Douglas County at around 9 a.m. Saturday.
SMFR said in a post on X that approximately 12 cyclists were riding in a group and that five were evaluated by medics after going down.
Two of the cyclists were transported "emergent" to the hospital while one was transported non-emergent, the agency said.
The Douglas County Sherriff's Office, which is investigating the incident, told Fox31 the accident did not involve a vehicle and occured after one cyclist crashed.
The scene has been cleared.
