Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayDENVER (KDVR) -- Two men are dead after Aurora police found them both stabbed on streets within blocks of each other near East Colfax Avenue, and police are investigating whether the two stabbings are connected.
Aurora officers at about 1:45 a.m. Sunday morning responded to a report of an unresponsive man on the sidewalk in the 1500 block of Moline Street, according to an Aurora Police Department press release. Once there, they found a man suffering from apparent stab wounds.
The officers performed lifesaving actions, but the man died at the scene.
Several hours later at around 6:30 a.m., officers responded to another report of an unresponsive man, this time near a bus stop on Peoria Street just south of Colfax Avenue, according to Aurora police in a second press release. He was also pronounced dead at the scene after officers located him suffering from stab wounds as well.
"Detectives are working to determine whether this incident is related to the separate stabbing death reported earlier this morning," police said.
Aurora's Major Crime Homicide Unit is leading the investigation. Police have not arrested anyone, and there is no suspect information, according to the press release.
