The Aurora Police Department said that 14-year-old Erica Long left her house on Sunday, June 15, around 8:45 p.m. She has not returned home, and police first posted about her missing status on Thursday, June 19.
Long's home is near East Dry Creek and South Gartrell, which is close to E-470.
On June 20, at about 9:30 p.m., police posted an update, reporting that Long was still missing and that the agency was "even more concerned for her safety."
Long is described as standing 5-feet, 4-inches tall and weighing about 130 pounds. She has shoulder-length brown hair, brown eyes and a henna tattoo on her left forearm. She also goes by the name of "Ember."
The police department shared additional photos of Long on Friday, including what she was last seen wearing and the design of her henna tattoo.
On Friday, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation issued an Endangered Missing Alert for Long. Anyone with information about her whereabouts or anyone who may have seen her is asked to call 303-627-3100 or 911.
