The Greeley Police Department said in a press release that officers responded to a shooting around 6:30 a.m. at the Greeley University Inn on 13th Street.
When they arrived on the scene, police found an apartment where they believe a person was shot.
The police department said that the victim had already taken themselves to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspected shooter has not been identified, and police are asking anyone with information to contact Sgt. Michael Pfeiler at [email protected].
Police said there is no danger to the community as the shooting appears to be an isolated incident.
