One woman is dead following an officer-involved shooting in southeast Calgary. Police were called to a home in the 200 block of Legacy Circle around 1:30 a.m. MDT Wednesday to check on the welfare of a woman. About an hour later, the woman exited the home with a weapon; the situation “escalated,” and an officer fired his weapon. Drew Stremick reports.
