Late October: A Symphony in a Cenote and Halloween

Halloween falls on Saturday 31 October. Many bars, hotels and expat groups host parties that night, so book tables early and expect higher prices for taxis late in the evening.

Planning your Cancún in October

Carry an umbrella and expect sudden downpours, especially later in the day. Tropical systems can bring longer rain, so check forecasts before travelling far.

Downtown venues such as Teatro de la Ciudad and Parque de Las Palapas are in the centre of the city. The hotel zone, where Paradisus and the marina sit, is a taxi or bus ride away.
