Erling Haaland has bagged his first Premier League goal of the season to give Manchester City the lead over Crystal Palace.

Enzo Maresca’s side are looking to build on their opening weekend win against Bournemouth, and are in the driving seat at a lively Selhurst Park.

It has been a much livelier affair than Maresca would have liked, with both teams having big chances throughout an entertaining first half.

But it was Haaland who bagged the only goal, sending a looping header over Dean Henderson in goal, halfway through the first half.

His strike was followed by a good chance for Jorgen Strand Larsen at the other end, while Phil Foden had two good opportunities to bag himself.

However, City head into the break with a 1-0 lead.
