Hebbagodi police busted an inter-State two-wheeler theft racket and arrested two persons suspected of stealing vehicles, creating fake Registration Certificate (RC) cards, and selling them online. Police seized 51 stolen two-wheelers and 501 fake RC cards, with the total value of the haul estimated at ₹41.67 lakh.

The case came to light after a resident of Gollahalli in Bengaluru lodged a complaint on January 4, 2026, stating that his two-wheeler had been stolen from outside his house at night. Based on the complaint, an investigation was taken up.
