PROTECT YOUR DNA WITH QUANTUM TECHNOLOGY
Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayThe Wizard Works Badjelly is a new handlebar or saddle bag from the small, London-based maker that increases the range’s storage capacity while adding a highly requested feature: waterproofing. For more on the Badjelly, dive in below…
Named after a witch in New Zealand, the Wizard Works Badjelly combines their two most-requested features: a larger size for their saddle bag (formerly the Shazam) and waterproofing. Due to a naming rights conflict, their new bar bag, the Badjelly, allows Harry and Ve of Wizard Works peace of legal mind and buyers larger sizing options and waterproofing! Due to some fancy new technology at Wiz Works HQ, this bag not only increases the versatility of their saddle bag in wet weather but denotes a new age for the small bag maker.
The Wizard Works Badjelly also features a deeper, reshaped body that creates a larger volume bag across all existing sizes. Their small is now 10L (was 9L), medium is 15L (was 14L), and their new large size now offers a huge 19L of carrying capacity. As with prior models, the Badjelly maintains its roll-top closure and expandable long flap. The redesigned body also includes tapering toward the front of the bag to provide more room for fingers and shifters on drop bars. The Badjelly also introduces two new internal drop pockets and an elastic cord at the top for quick-stash items. The rear of the bag is backed by a new Hypalon attachment bar, and a new strap across the roll top and under the flap keeps everything snug.
The Wizard Works Badjelly sizing and weight breaks down as follows: the small is 29cm wide x 24cm high x 17cm deep (37cm wide with full side pockets), the medium is 31cm wide x 29cm high x 18cm deep (39cm wide with full side pockets), and the large is 36cm wide x 30cm high x 20cm deep (44cm wide with full side pockets). Bag weights are 680, 815, and 890 grams, respectively.
Another important element to note is that the arrival of the Badjelly signals a new era for Wizard Works. As of now, the Badjelly, Figwit Cargo Cage Bag, and Alakazam Basket Bag are 100% waterproof. I spent an entire day with Harry and Ve at Wizard Works HQ and will be diving into the specifics of their new seam taper later this week, but until then, know the Badjelly retails for £210 ($280 USD) and is offered in the core lineup of Wizard Works colors: Splatter, Black, Olive, and Tan. Custom options are also available.
